My new Bio Pic. But Don’t worry. Twitter Monkey Isn’t Going Anywhere.

July 31, 2011

For those of you who haven’t heard, I will soon be publishing a short story (It is not that short – almost novella length, really) through New Line Press. How cool is that?

As part of the publishing process, I was told I need a bio pic. Apparently the pen wielding monkey image I stole from the interwebs will not cut it. Now, I don’t actually hate the process of getting my photo taken but, like things I said at a party or time I spend with extended family, I usually regret the it the next day or when I see the full results on Facebook. Why my friends and family seek to humiliate me on Facebook is beyond me. I mean, okay, usually I started it but whatevs.

Anyway, here are my top two bio pics with the second, larger one being the winner. Actually, my awesome publisher doctored the photo for me. Yay! Note how my margarita is more real than me. I am sure there is something poetic or ironic in that but I am too unclever to figure it out. I know what you are thinking but I steadfastly hold the opinion that unclever is indeed a word.

But I digress.

Here are the two bio photos:

So what do yall think? Good choice?
