Candy Cigarettes. All The Cool Kids Were Doing It.
January 10, 2012
I was out and about, as I usually am, when I came across some candy cigarettes. I used to love them when I was a kid. I would puff on them until the “smoke” was all gone and then I would chew the powdery gum until it disintegrated in my mouth. Sometimes I would get the nasty chocolate ones and they would also disintegrate in my mouth. The Popeye ones were okay but they didn’t puff so they were at the bottom of my list.
I snapped a few pics of these modern nostalgia treats for your viewing pleasure on this fine Time Warp Tuesday.
How fun was that? But those days were gone and now all I have are these Cohibas I picked up in Cuba. Oh woe is me. 😉

I used to love those candy cigarettes! My how times have changed since then.
I know! I had to resist the urge to buy them when I saw them. Especially the Just Like Dad ones.
Oh my gosh. Cubano cigarillos! Mwah! Luuucky! And the candy ones, I’d have paid for, especially the Just Like Dad ones. (My dad was a Mormon, the irony would have been beeeautiful) 😉
I smoked a few while I was there and brought the rest back. Unfortunately, I also smoked cigarettes while I was there and have now picked up the habit I managed to break ten years ago. I will quit next week, I swear.
